About Dots, ChatGPT Space and GPT-6.1 Sol
The three products in the video's description were announced at OpenAI DevDay 2026 on September 29, 2026. Dots are always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra, with their own cloud computer. ChatGPT Space is a shared area where teammates, ChatGPT and the user's dot build on shared knowledge, available to Pro, Business and Enterprise plans on desktop and web. GPT-6.1 Sol is an upgrade to GPT-6 Sol that OpenAI says nearly matches GPT-6 Astra on agentic coding, computer use and professional work.
On cost, OpenAI says the first dot is included in Pro and Business Premium plans at no extra cost, and conversations with a dot do not count toward ChatGPT usage limits; tasks it starts in Codex or ChatGPT Work do. GPT-6.1 Sol costs $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens in the API. DevDay also introduced a Pro 500 plan with 25 times the ChatGPT Plus allowance.
