About Hermes Agent and Himalaya

Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent created by Nous Research and released under the MIT license. According to its official site, the same agent, with the same memory, can be used from a desktop app, the terminal or messaging platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal and email. It keeps conversations, memories and skills across sessions, can delegate tasks to isolated subagents, and lets the user connect a preferred model provider or use the Nous Portal.

Himalaya is a command-line tool for managing email, written in Rust. Its official repository lists support for IMAP, SMTP, ManageSieve, JMAP, the Gmail REST API and Microsoft Graph (Outlook / Microsoft 365), multi-account TOML configuration and JSON output through the --json option, which makes it usable by scripts and AI agents. The project is distributed under the Apache 2.0 and MIT licenses.
